i just saw my first possum! he walked across my deck in front of my desk. now i can hear him making trouble
in the neighborhood. that brings the tally of critter sightings at my place to dozens of racoons, a couple of skunks, lots of
hawks, several vultures, numerous deer, a few squirells and now one possum.

i'm experimenting with general layouts for the site.
you might notice the site changing slightly every now and then.
for example, today i am going to try moving the links to the top of the
pages so that they are always easy to get to. let me know if i screw anything
